My Mom's Apple Cake

This cake that my mom used to make us regularly is still a favourite. It is a huge cake, very moist and stuffed with tons of apple chunks. She loved it because it was “simple to make”, without a mixer. We all continue to make this yummy cake for our own kids. Depending on the season, it can be made with peaches, blueberries and pears as well. It is a definite crowd-pleaser! Yield: 12-15 servings
